New July Release with Star Fairy and Little Blue Button Stamps!

Little Blue Button Stamps

Hello sweet friends!
Welcome to another Fun Friday! I hope you had a wonderful week and hopefully ready to get a jump start on gathering fun ideas and inspiration for all your crafty projects this weekend! And I want to wish all of you who celebrate, A Happy July 4th weekend!!  With that being said, let's get right to it!!!
New July Release
For my project today, I had the absolute pleasure of coloring up this adorable digital stamp, Star Fairy! She is just one of the new stamps from July's new release. I really had a blast coloring this one up!

I decided to make a gift sack or bag using some of the contents from my June's Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up. To start my project, I printed my image onto some GP cardstock and colored her in using my Zig clean color real brush markers. Once colored, I cut her out using the stitched oval and the stitched scallop oval frame, both from My Creative Time.

I popped up my image using some dimensionals and adhered it to a striped piece of cardstock. This cardstock was actually a portion of a card, it was a card front that I just cut apart to use as a nice layer for this gift sack. The card layer already had ticks on the sides to wrap around some twine, so I wrapped around some natural hemp. I then took some white twine and tied it around the hemp and tied it into a nice bow. I like the look this gives and to the center of the bow, I added a gold sequin. I added this panel to the actual gift sack. Easy enough! Then right under this layer, I stamped the words, "Happy Birthday" in black ink. The striped card layer, white twine, gift sack and sentiment were among some of the contents from my paper pumpkin kit.

To finish off this cute gift sack, I added a few gold star sequins to continue the star theme from the image and I added some sparkle to the fairy's wings, the star wand & stars as well as her hair bow using my Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen. This adorable gift sack will hold a birthday card inside with a gift card for my niece who just celebrated her 9th birthday on June 28th. I sure hope she likes this!
Here are a couple more photos, hopefully you can see the sparkle!

Well friends that is it for me! I sure hope you enjoy what I created and maybe try to make a gift sack to hold your handmade card or creation inside for your next project. Hope you are doing well and had a wonderful holiday! It has been busy here (as usual lately) so I am a bit behind on blogging, ugh. It's so hard to keep up in the summer...to many distractions, lol!
Have a great evening my friend!
