Little Blue Button Stamps "Easter Crew" DT project for Crafty Monday!

Little Blue Button Stamps

Hello sweet friends!
Welcome to a brand new week! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and hopefully you are ready to get a jump start on gathering fun ideas and inspiration for all your crafty projects! With that being said, welcome to Crafty Monday!!!

Can you really believe it is March already??? WOW, time really flies on by doesn't it? Well have you seen March's new release yet?? The Little Blue Button Shop has released some adorable digital stamps this month. Today I have the pleasure of working with this adorable digital stamp called, Easter Crew.
Easter Crew
Here is what I created today!

I printed this adorable image out on some Canson watercolor paper and colored it in with my Zig Clean color brush markers. I added some grass by flicking a few shades of green to make it look like these cute eggs were sitting on a lawn. Then I fussy cut the image out. I took a piece of teal cardstock from my stash and cut a thin strip of paper to go along the bottom edge of my image to give it a little pop of color and to bring out that teal blue from the image.

The tag was created using my tag dies from My Creative Time. I used the Tag Dies and I also used the Tag die layers to cut out that line of tiny little circle dots. I placed my tag down on my work surface and I sponged on some tumbled glass distress ink using a cloud template that I made to the top portion of my tag. I knew that I wanted these little easter eggs to be sitting in the lawn with a beautiful blue sky above. I really love how the sky and clouds turned out. I added those teeny tiny circle dots along the bottom fishtails of the banner to bring out that blue and to give it a fun look. The sentiment, "Happy Easter" was stamped in momento tuxedo black ink and it comes from the stamp set, "To a cute little chickie" from My Creative Time. Then to finish off the tag, I decided to take some Hello Honey 3/8" satin stitched ribbon and some pistachio thick baker's twine from Stampin Up to thread through the top and tie a small bow. I actually made a mistake here because the hello honey ribbon was so thick, it actually ripped the top of my tag apart and I had to grab my crop o'dile and my 1/4" circle punch to create a hole reinforcer for the top. I just used a piece of scrap white cardstock. Well I hope you enjoyed my cute little Easter tag showing off this adorable Easter Crew image! Please remember to head on over to the LBBS Blog to check out the awesome projects that my design team sisters have created for you using March's New Release.

Well thank you for stopping by today!
I hope you have a wonderful, crafty day!
Until next time, Enjoy life's blessings~
