Cardz TV Challenge #26 "It's SO You!"

Howdy Friends!
Happy Weekend! So happy it is Friday~because it is challenge day at Cardz TV! Today's challenge, "It's So You" is to make a card, layout or project using your favorite colors. My favorite colors are purple and black so I pulled out some papers and stamps and here is what I came up with:

Cardz TV Ch# 26 "It's SO You!"
Make a card, layout or craft project using YOUR favorite colors.
Starts: Fri, Mar 8
Ends: Thurs, Mar 21 @ Noon EST
Prize: 1 set of Cardz TV Stamps

"Just Because"

I used a lavender piece of cardstock as my card base. My first layer is a piece of black cardstock that I embossed using a wall panel embossing folder. My cute image is the Pure Innocence Cowgirl" stamp from My Favorite Things. Boy is she a cutie or what?? I absolutey loved coloring her and paper piecing her vest, skirt and hat. I used lavender patterned paper for her clothing. I colored her in using my copics, E00, E02, E04, C5, C8, C10, V04 and V05. I then added some rock candy stickles to give her a little sparkle. My sentiment is from Cardz TV's "Simply Said" stamp set. This set is definitely a set to have in your collection (Preview of stamp set below).  I added a 2" X 4" patterned strip of paper across the black panel to bring out more of the lavender in the card base. All my cardstock is from Bazzill and the patterned papers are from 3Birds. To finish off the card, I added some ribbons that I had in my stash and some glitter tape from American Crafts. I also tied some hemp into a bow, threaded onto a purple button and placed in the upper left corner. Here is a peek at the inside of my card that has another sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set............

Well that is my card for today and I hope you stop by the Cardz TV Blog to see all the wonderful projects my design team sisters have created for your inspiration. These ladies are so talented and truly rocked this challenge! Make sure to link up your creation for a chance to win Simply Said or another Cardz TV stamp set! Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend!!!!
