Easter~ Challenge #70 with Dies R Us

Hello sweet friends!
Welcome to a new challenge at Dies R US! Our challenge today circles all around Easter! We want to see all your Easter projects~ Bring out the bunnies, the beautiful Easter baskets, the gorgeous Easter lillies and the beautiful crosses. The design team and I, have some awesome projects to inspire you and help you create your Easter projects. Oh and since today is the first day of April, Happy Fool's day too! :)

So here is the card that I created for today's challenge.

I have been creating quite a few Easter cards this year so I am happy to be able to have a nice stash that I can send out to those special people in my life. Today's card was completely inspired by the Sue Wilson- Italian Collection-Tuscany Dies. I used the largest die as my card base which was cut out on some Neena solar white cardstock. I cut out the floral circle die out of some spring papers from My Besties Designs and adhered that to a burlap doily.  The center circle die was cut out using more Neena cardstock and I stamped the sentiment in the center which is from a Cardz TV Stamp set, "Happy Days".

I also die cut out the largest Lawn Fawn- Large Dotted Circle Stackables Dies to be a layer to the floral circle die that I had cut out. I took a piece of white lace and added it behind the floral circle layer and took another two pieces of lace trim and added it to the top and bottom of the same layer. It is hard to see the layers because I have a lot going on with my card but it is there! Next, I added some gorgeous pearls around the outside circle layer and to the inside circle where the sentiment is stamped. I love the look of pearls and lace together! The adorable bunny was die cut using the Impression Obsession- Chocolate Bunny Die. I used the same spring papers and I added a little bit of gesso to create the bunny's stomach area and white tail. I also added a little eye using a copic mulit-liner pen.

The butterfly above the sentiment was a wood chippy from SnipArt that I had painted with gesso and then heat embossed with some lavender glitter EP. The "With Love' is also another wood chippy that I gesso'd and heat embossed with vintage ivory EP.  These were adhered using my hot glue gun. The bunny was finally adhered using some foam adhesive and I added some sparkle using my spectrum clear sparkle pen. I took some beautiful cream seam binding ribbon and adhered it to my layer and then adhered this layer down to the card base. I tied the ribbon into a bow and finished it off with a beautiful pink rose. To finish the card off, I took various roses and created a nice cluster all around the front and added some sparkle to them too.  And that completes my card! All of the dies that I used are highlighted in the links above and can be found in the Dies R Us store HERE

Well that is all I have for you today my friends. I appreciate you for taking time out of your day to visit me and see what I am up to.
