I had the pleasure of coloring up their sweet image, "Pot of Tulips". So here is what I created for the challenge.

So I began by printing my image to size first. I used my Molotow masking pen to mask the entire image off so that I could create my background. I took some tumbled glass and salty ocean distress inks to create the sky. Also used a scalloped edged piece of paper that I cut from a punch, to create some clouds. Then I took mowed lawn and peeled paint to create the hilly grass. Once that was finished, I took some of my copics and created some grass with a few flicks.
All that was left to do was take the masking off the image and color that in.

I colored in my image using my copics and I also printed out a second image because I wanted to give this image a lot of dimension. So I half colored the image that I built the sky around and I fully colored the second image. I then cut out the pot, grass and tulips from the second image and put them up on some foam tape and then added it to my original image with the background. Now the set of 3 tulips look like there are about 6 tulips in that pot, lots of dimension! I added some sparkle and shine to the butterfly and tulips using my Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen. So once that was finished, I adhered it to a piece of crumb cake cardstock by Stampin' Up and put that panel on foam tape.
My card is a regular A2 in size. All the cardstock is from Stampin' Up. I used crumb cake as my base and added a piece of Dapper Denim as my first layer. Then I took a piece of very vanilla and ran it through my hexagon embossing folder for the dimension. Before adhering it down to the dapper denim layer, I added 2 strips of soft pink ribbon. I tied a small knot to the one layer of ribbon to give it a little pop. Once that was done, I went ahead and adhered it down. And lastly, I took my image panel and adhered that to the top and with all the dimension, this card truly looks amazing in real life. I left it without a sentiment so that I can easily use this card later for any occasion that I may need it for. I hope you like!!
