(Eastern time)

Here is what I created using this week's sketch.

This week's sketch was super easy and so fun to work with! I started off with an A2 size card base using Bazzill's textured cardstock in vanilla. I knew I wanted this card to be a one layer CAS style card so to give the card base a little bit more texture, I ran just the bottom portion of the card through one of my Anna Griffin's embossing folder's called "Acanthus". It was the border strip embossing folder that came along with the standard folder. Once that was complete, I took out a very well loved and retired paper collection from Lawn Fawn called "Daphne's Closet" and cut a few strips of the pretty patterned papers, cut at 1/2". Then I took out the adorable stamp set, " Critters in the sea" and inked up the adorable whale! I just love all the critters in this set! So cute! So I colored this cutie up using my copic markers, BG70, B32 and B41. I added some dots to give the whale some texture. To finish him up, I added some clear wink of stella for some shimmer and then covered him in glossy accents. Once I positioned him on the card where I wanted him, I stamped the little water splat using my misti tool and added some Tropical Teal sequins from 3 Twenty Crafts. I stamped the sentiment in momento tuxedo black ink also using my misti tool to make sure I lined it up perfectly even with the strip of paper. I really love my misti! It definitely helps with alignment. The sentiment is one of two that come in the Critters in the sea stamp set. At this point my card was finished but I decided to add a bit more wink of stella to the criss cross patterned strips and took my Sakura white gel pen and added a few white dots.  Well my friends this completes my card,
 I hope you like!

Now let's see what the FFC Design Team has created for this Challenge:
