Teal We Find A Cure & Amanda's Bday Blog Hop!!!

Hello My crafty friends and happy Saturday to you! I sure hope your weekend started off on a crafty foot! Today I want to welcome you to my sweet and lovable design team sister Amanda's birthday blog hop! What makes this even more special is that Amanda wanted to share with all of us about the awareness of PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). So with that being said....

Welcome to the "Teal We Find A Cure/ Amanda’s Birthday Blog Hop"

This hop is more about awareness for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.   September is  PCOS awareness month as well as Amanda’s Birthday.

The ribbon color for PCOS just happens to be Teal. So
we are hopping along today to celebrate a very special birthday as well as bring awareness to light for PCOS

I would like to share some important information about PCOS.

  • Between 1 in 10 and 1 in 20 women of childbearing age has PCOS. As many as 5 million women in the United States may be affected. It can occur in girls as young as 11 years old.
  • The cause of PCOS is unknown.
  • There is no cure for PCOS
  • Here are some great websites for more information on PCOS
      Women's Health on PCOS
Okay so on to this wonderful hop for two amazing causes... But first... I just want to say... HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!!!  =)

The only requirement for this challenge was to use the color Teal. So you should have arrived here from Michelle's Blog. If you have you are on the right track but if you have not, you can start from the beginning of this hop by going to Amanda's Blog. So here is my project. I decided to make a cute little itty bitty mini album made from coin envelopes.

The cardstock is Recollections and the patterned papers are from the gorgeous Park Bench Collection by Fancy Pants Designs. This cute mini was made with using only 2 coin envelopes and just a couple of pretty papers. The stickers that I used also came in this collection kit. I cut out the tags with my Ebosser using the Stiched Round Tab & Arrow Tag Die by Emma at My Creative Time Stamps. I really enjoyed creating this adorable mini for such a beautiful cause! Below are a few more pictures. I learned about this cute itty bitty mini by the sweet Mary from Cardz TV. If you are interested in creating one of these mini's for yourself, you can go Here and watch Mary's video.

Well my friends, I hope you enjoyed my project today and I hope you hop along through the entire hop as their are some fantastic projects that will surely inspire you. Don't forget to wish Amanda a very happy Birthday! Your next stop on the hop is Shawnee's Blog! Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy the hop! Have a wonderful weekend!!
